WE ARE REBEL HOUSE
REBEL HOUSE is a studio that is challenging the norm of fitness classes. We have brought our two favorite workouts, CYCLING & BOXING under one roof. Whether you're taking a RIDE or RUMBLE class, we have designed our workouts to reboot and strengthen your body, and also your mind.
REBEL RIDE - Get ready to sweat like you've never sweat before. Our Rides are a Cardiovascular AND full body toning workout strengthed by the power and rhythm of music. Our rides are about so much more than the bike. We focus on strengthening you as a whole/ Our bikes require SPD shoes, (clip in shoes) if you don't have your own you're more than welcome to rent ours ($2) or order your very own through us!
REBEL RUMBLE - Get ready to feel muscles that you never knew you had. Our Rebel Rumble classes will challenge, and push you to your limits. All while having fun and tapping into your best self each and every time. Boxing inspired HIIT class. We have wraps for purchase at $6 (yours to keep) and gloves to rent at $2
THE VIBE: Our goal is to keep you energized, challenged, and most importantly inspired. REBEL believes in the power of music and our unique instructors to influence the integrity of your workout. Classes are set to unique & regularly updated playlists.
THE WHY: We REBEL to get stronger physically and mentally. We get lost in the music and the movements. We get better, and we find our best selves and live a healthy lifestyle. We REBEL to the rhythm and as one.
THE WIND DOWN: At the end of each class, when our minds are free, and adrenaline is flowing, this time is used to empower the mind and allows the rider to set an intention for what might be next. This is when you are your most powerful and peaceful self.
WHAT TO WEAR: We suggest wearing tight fitting pants or shorts (as to not get wide legged pants stuck in the bike for ride classes), with a light top or sports bra. We do provide towels so no need to bring you own. SPD clip in shoes are required for our bikes and will be provided if needed.
HYDRATE: Always remember to drink plenty of water before, during, and after your class. It is SO important to stay hydrated. Riders are encouraged to bring their own re-usable water bottles and fill them at our filtered water system, we have REBEL re-usable bottles for purchase, or you may purchase plastic water bottles from our front desk.
EAT: Please don’t try to workout while starving. Have a meal a few hours before class or a light snack up to half an hour before your class.
PARKING: Being a city gym unfortunately we don't have a designated parking lot. There is lots of street parking (be sure to back in according to signs) There are also many parking lots across and kitty corner to the gym. Another good option is the Gateway mall 1/2 a block away that is free for 1 hour!
ARRIVE EARLY: Please make sure you arrive 15 minutes before class. The team will help set you up on your bike or guide you to your rumble spot and get you ready to go. Remember that if you do not arrive a minimum of 5 minutes before class we cannot guarantee that you will be allowed entry into class, as your seat can be given to those who are waitlisted and present.
**Please note: New Clients are not allowed to enter the class after it has begun & We don't allow seasoned riders into the class 5 minutes after class has begun. (this is for your safety! At this point you would have missed the warm up and could get injured jumping right in. Also to protect the integrity of the dark lit class room and fellow classmates experiences without distractions)
CHECK IN: If you have booked online (very recommended) sign in at the front desk. Your spot will be up for grabs to wait-listers if you have not signed in at least 5 minutes before the class. If you are not signed-in, we’ll assume you’re not here. We encourage first time riders to choose bikes toward the back of the room so that they can follow along with the rhythm of the class. Spots may be switched to keep integrity of the class if needed.
WAIVER: All first-time Rebels must sign a waiver. Please let the front desk staff know when checking in that this is your first time so we can take the pertinent steps to get you all set up. Clients are accountable for ensuring their waiver has been signed before their first class. All clients 15 years of age and under are required to have a parent or guardian’s signature in person order to ride.
SAFTEY: Before your class please check in with your bike. Tighten all handles on the bike and make sure your shoes are properly clipped in. We will help you the first time, or anytime you need guidance with how you should feel and be sitting on the bike. Please remember to listen to your body and work at a level that is most comfortable to you. Our instructors are here to motivate you and push you, but let your body be your guide to what you can take. The REBEL team is happy to answer any questions or concerns you may have.
BIKE SET UP: The instructor or front desk will help you with your first bike set up. Please give yourself time to feel comfortable on your bike, test the tension and warm up your legs prior to class if you can.
The key parts to proper set up on the bike.
1. Seat Hight should be at your hip bone
2. Handle bars should be at the same hight or higher than your seat (most of our work is out of the saddle in class)
3. Seat and handle bars can be adjusted towards or away from you, make sure they don't feel too far away from you, you want a flat back when seated.
If the class you'd like to take is full, jump on the waitlist. You must have an available credit that will get redeemed at the time of sign up (you will not be able to use the same credit to book another class).
If a bike opens up, you will be automatically added into the class, and will receive an email letting you know. Our normal cancelation policy is in effect for waitlist (you must cancel within 6 hours of the class or you will be deducted a credit)
You may take your name off the waitlist with no credits deducted, as long as you have not been cleared within the 6 hour window.
Riders still on the waitlist 1 hour or less prior to class may drop in and see if there are any no shows to class, we will call out your name 5 minutes before class begins to get you ready to go in. If you aren't present we will move onto the next client there.
